Cosmic Celebrations - 20 Year Anniversary
Let’s celebrate this occasion in style my stargazing friends. Having been an AstroPsychologist for 20 years and reading for friends across the globe has been an honor.
Writing two books on the subject gives us all more reason to celebrate in a cosmic fashion.
It is because of you that I get to interpret the stars and their influences.

October Cosmic Influences
My wonderful stargazing friends, how did you enjoy September’s energies and influences?
Now let’s talk about the cosmic harmonizer and equalizer “Libra” and October's cosmic influences.
How awesome to know we have a month where it truly wants things to be in balance, rhythm and harmony. Have you ever noticed that nature is balanced? Even though we may not agree to our daily weather forecast, it is operating from a natural rhythm and cycle, much like the seasons do.
Just look at the image for Libra. It is the scale. It wants and desires balance. Even at first glance it is informing us to harmonize our inner and outer energies.
Get that scale out and determine what is working and what is not. What a perfect metaphor this scale is. This is a good time to look at the pro’s and con’s to a situation or event. Get a piece of paper out, draw a line down the middle and write on each side. To see it visually is a helpful tool. |

When you walk into a courthouse you tend to see this symbol. It is the sign of Justice. The Judge listens to all sides in “fairness” which is a Libran term. What justice is required to bring about a fair outcome to any given situation?
So we are looking at the literal, metaphorical and symbolic meaning for the sign of Libra.
In the Astrological Chart, Libra typically governs the 7th house. The 7th house rules business partners, marriage partners, facing the world and agreements. Depending on where your Libra is in your Birth Chart, will be how the energy or influences are determined. (see below by birth month).
As we move further into the month of October we thankfully have Pluto going direct, which I will mention momentarily in the retrograde part of this newsletter.
Please note we will have a Full Moon in Aries on October 13th, 2019 at 5:08 PM EST. As we approach this date “72 hours toward” we will begin to feel the effects of the full moon and for those who are born in April or have lots of Aries energies, watch how fast you are driving. Those Mario Andretti style drivers will be on notice.
Aries rules weapons, fire and high octane energy especially during the full moon as it is amplified. Just notice your energies, stay grounded and focused. This combined with Venus in Scorpio is to watch the passions. We can be passionate but not to be extreme. Other keywords here are war, warrior and spiritual warrior.
Utilize the Venus in Scorpio energy that begins October 8th to be about a nice dinner or romantic date with the love of your life. Perhaps taking up some Argentine Tango dancing. Can you sense this energy?
Okay now brace yourselves as we approach Halloween. Trick or Treat Everyone! October 31st, 2019, is the day Mercury Retrograde commences. If any of you are thinking like me, it feels just like yesterday that we experienced this. |

Retrograde Introspection
It’s time to inspect the inner realms of our lives.
Last month the question was posed to determine how you were learning from the Saturn retrograde.
As the Saturn retrograde was about prioritizing, tasking and disciplining yourselves. In other words, where were you to course correct or get back on track? Some people may have experienced this in their home, meaning things were cluttered and not organized. Where others may feel their health was a little tapped because they were not disciplined in eating properly or worked too many hours. |

This months question is regarding Pluto: We are talking about the power of death and rebirth. Pluto helps to bring about that which needs to be transformed. Many spiritual people talk about how we take a negative situation, circumstance or even emotion, and transmute it.
Pluto began its retrograde phase on April 24th, 2019 and ends on October 2, 2019.
Question: Can you look back between these dates and determine what is being transformed or transmuted?
What has ended for something else to begin?

Pluto: We are talking about the power of death and rebirth. Pluto helps to bring about that which needs to be transformed. Many spiritual people talk about how we take a negative situation, circumstance or even emotion and transmute it.
Neptune: Neptune governs the sign of Pisces. This truly reflects the spiritual/religious parts of you. It also refers to your subconscious and hidden (not aware of to the conscious mind) areas of your mind.
Mercury: The planet of communications and expressions. This is a time when electronics, miscommunication, appointments and schedules may go a little haywire. Keep a journal of how you feel during this time.
Uranus: The Awakener. The planet referred to as new age, bringing the human race forward. It is about originality and brings forth the new. It will take us out of our comfort zones.
Any planet that goes retrograde, knowing their influence, it offers us guidance and insight of what to observe within ourselves as we go through these. Take notice of any changes, dreams, patterns, wisdom or lessons. |
